PlanSurv succeed where others have failed. Planning permission was granted for the change of use of a of Grade II Listed pub to a house in Denston, Suffolk. The permission was granted under delegated powers; no mean feat given the background of two failed applications and a dismissed appeal. PlanSurv worked closely with historic building experts and, following an extensive marketing campaign, successfully argued that there was no prospect of the pub reopening in the foreseeable future and the proposal offered a viable alternative use which would secure the buildings future, while improving its appearance in the street scene.
